  • License Controlled Services in Single Installer for Adeptia Connect
    Adeptia Connect controls its services and features through licensing of various editions. Ensure that you have relevant edition with license for seamlessly using the features of Connect.
    Support for SOAP WebHook
    Adeptia users can now use SOAP WebHook Connector while creating a Custom Template. 
    Support for LDAP Authentication for REST and SOAP WebHook
    Adeptia now supports LDAP authentication (for the users) successfully while using Rest or SOAP WebHook in a custom template.
    Support for Multipart Response
    Connect now supports sending multipart response in REST WebHook connector response.
    Support to add an External Partner before Partner Accepts the Invitation 
    Once you add an external partner, Connect will add this partner upfront as an internal partner. However, once the partner accepts the invitation and fills requireddetails the internal would change to external or self-managed partner.     Support for Editing Parameters for External Partner

    Adeptia has enhanced the list of connectors that you can use while creating a custom template.
    Support to View Target in P2P Template with Context Target in Process Flow
    While creating a Partner to Partner (P2P) template or transaction with Context Target dropped in the process flow, you can now view the set target page with dropdown. 
    APIs to Manage Activities from External Applications
    You can now use APIs to manage the activities such as partners, schemas, and mapping from the external applications. You can use these APIs to create, update, and delete activities without the UI. Click here to view the list of APIs with example payloads. 
    Support for Prerequisite Verification in the Product Installation
    Product installer now will run prerequisite verifications and notify with an error message in case of any issues. This helps in diagnosing the problems upfront before the actual installation. Visit product installation manual for detail.
    Effective and Robust Web Forms
    Adeptia Connect now supports and uses Sencha Architect to create the Web Form that can be used in a Transaction/Template. This feature is available in limited edition of Connect. Click here to know how to use web forms.
    Support for CC and BCC in Mail Target Activity
    You can now also provide CC and BCC email ids while creating a Mail Target Activity. Visit mail target activity page to know more.
    Performance Optimization for Dashboard and Home Page
    Performance of Dashboard and Home Page has improved in case there is large number of REST calls.
    Support for Attribute in Content Based Routing
    While using content-based routing in a custom template you can now also provide attribute in the x-path enabling Connect to search the content based on given attribute at run time. Earlier only attribute value was allowed.
    Support for Controlled Display of Partners
    You can only view those partners who have access to the template while creating a template. Earlier, all partners of the network were visible.
    Access Controlled View for the Partners
    Connect users can now only see those partners who have access to the template being used for creating a P2P transaction.
    Support to View of a Group of Activities
    While creating a transaction or template, you would view only those activities (mapping, source and target schema) that are accessible to the selected partner. Earlier all activities used to be displayed.
    Partners to Define Steps in a P2P Transactions
    Now, partners can create or edit various activities while creating a P2P transaction from a custom template. However, this control is based on the routing type defined.
    Support to View Parameters on My Company Page 
    Now self-managed partners can view and edit the parameter values of the network parameters set by the company.
  • Support for JSON Schema in EDI Outbound Transaction
    Adeptia now supports JSON schema at the source in an EDI Outbound transaction.
  • Support for Enhanced Notifications
    While creating an FTP event you can now set notification in following two cases:
    • Receive notification in case a duplicate file duplicate file is received.
    • Receive notification in case no file is found on trigger 
  • Support of File Stable Option
    You can now provide the time period for which system would wait for the file to go stable before firing the trigger. Click here to know more about this option.
    Support for File Exclusion Criteria
    Adeptia Connect now allows you to give the file types that you need to exclude while running a transaction with FTP at source. Click here to know more about this option.
    View Product Information from Home Page 
    You can now view details of Adeptia Connect from home page. Under this section you can view Version, Edition, Installation & Expiry dates along with Portal and Server details of the productWith this release, you can now use Single Installer to install both Connect Portal (UI) and Connect Server (backend) on a machine. However, if required you can opt to install portal and server at different machines. Click here to know more about the new installation.

  • Support for Granular Access Control in Adeptia Connect 
    With Granular Access Control (GAC), a company can now manage entities of Adeptia Connect through role-based access. This is available only in a beta version and controlled through license, therefore ensure to have relevant license and read the guidelines to before you GAC. This helps you understand its impact on existing environment.

    This feature helps you to filter project and other activities to perform the specific actions. However, a company can create a set of roles for their each Business Segment. Click here to know how to use this feature.

  • Support for Projects in Adeptia Connect 
    You can now select the Project while creating different activities, such as a template, Web Forms, Mapping, Accounts, and Layout. This feature helps you to manage objects of your process within a project and perform basic operations. Click here to know how to use this feature.

  • Support for Role Creation and its Limitations 
    Now, company users can create new roles and assign multiple roles to a user.  A partner user cannot create new roles using GAC. Check permission model guidelines to know what all actions a user can perform.

  • Support for Versioning in Adeptia Connect 
    Adeptia Connect now supports version Control through GIT for versioning the objects within a Project. This feature provides Check-in, view revision history, and replace options for various activities of Transaction, Configure, and Manage Objects page. Click here to know more about Version Control System.

  • Google Sheet API V4 for Adeptia Connect
    Adeptia Connect now supports Google Sheet API V4 for all Target Actions (Add Records to Worksheet, Update Records to Worksheet, Add or Update Records to Worksheet, and Delete Worksheet). This will help to reduce the upload time.

  • Support to Test a Layout 
    You can now test following layouts both at Source and Target end:
    • Text
    • Excel
    • Positional
    • JSON
    • XML

  • Support for Overriding JMS Target Message Properties

  • Support for Mail Event Properties in Transaction/Template 
    You can now configure mail event properties while creating Transaction/Template. This feature helps you to send a notification to receiver email-id if an error happens on Trigger.

  • Support for FTP Event Properties in Transaction/Template
    Connect now supports configuring FTP Event properties while creating Transaction/Template. This feature helps you to choose the Connector, enable or ignore misfire, create a Log file of FTP activity, and select the option to trigger the Transaction/Template in a sequential manner while creating Transaction/Template. Click here to know more about this option.

  • Support for Domain-Specific Login

    Adeptia Connect now supports to execute both local directory files and LAN files in LAN File Source and Target for Linux System.

Bug Fixes

Following Bugs have been fixed in this release:

...

  • An issue with creating a text schema in Adeptia Connect through a file upload.
  • When large records are inserted/updated in a process flow using Advanced Database Target Activity (through Developer's Studio), the process flow remains in running status after execution.
  • Content routing service does not complete successfully for punch-out flow and the flows remain stuck in ”Running State”. 
  • Connect throws a Null Pointer exception while using a P2P template created by a user who is deactivated. 
  • Error while the user tries to write to Amazon S3 when it is not publicly accessible. 
  • Transaction name gets truncated in tile view. 
  • Process flow execution timing out due to large volume date. 
  • The transaction fails when Spazio is used as source and AmazonS3 a star get while Auto-generated file option is checked. 

  • At manage object page & process flow page server-side modified date should be displayed. 

  • Error message while the user was unable to login Adeptia Suite from Connect GUI.
