Namespace allows you to add, view, edit, and remove the namespace in the XSL. All the Namespaces present in the source and target destination XSD's are automatically placed in the XSL generated. These Namespaces can be viewed using View Namespace option in the Namespace submenu. 

Adding Namespace


Steps to add a Namespace in the XSLNamespace 

  1. Click the ActionsOpen menu and select NamespacePreferences.
  2. Click the Namespace submenu  option and select Add Namespace. The Namespace dialog box is displayed (see Figure 509).

    Enter

    the Namespace screen is displayed.

  3. Click Add Row and enter the Namespace and click OKDone.

  4. The Namespace is added to the XSL.

   For Example, xmlns:oa="http:/ /www.openapplications.org/oagis"


 The namespace added is shown in the XSL stylesheet tag.

Editing Namespace
Steps to edit a Namespace in the XSL

  1. Click the ActionsOpen menu and select NamespacePreferences.
  2. Click the Namespace submenu  option and select Edit Namespace. The Select Namespace screen is displayed (see Figure 510).

  3. Select the namespace you want to edit. This activates the OK button. This displays This displays the Namespace dialog box  box in edit mode.

  4. Make the necessary changes.
  5. Click OKDone to save the modifications.

     



    Similarly, you can view or remove an existing namespace.
