Logs play an important role for any application. They give you a means to trace what 's been is happening in a particular request or a user's activity. All the information about an IDoc that is received from a remote SAP Server or being sent to a remote SAP Server is being logged in the configured log tables. You may go to Monitor>History>SAP Logs to view these logs.

To view SAP logs, go to Monitor History SAP Logs

The logs with status FAILTOSEND will have an error. Click View in the Error column to view the error details.

You can also search the SAP logs using Advanced Search option by clicking Image Added.

You can also search logs based on the following search criteria:

  • IDoc Number
  • IDoc Type
  • Sender Name
  • Receiver Name
  • Status

To search the logs:

  1. Select whether you want to search in the current logs or in the archived logs.
  2. Select the field for which you want to search. This option is applicable if you want to search the logs based on a particular field. After selecting the field, type the search value.
  3. Click the calendar and select the time and date from the From and To.
  4. Click Search
