Post Process is the processed data to further process to perform some post-processing on the result data. In Adeptia Connect, a transaction is executing by processing files at source and destination. If you want to further process data, you need to use Post Process application at target to do some post-processing on the data.
Using Post Process application, you can use a Process Flow and Transaction in a Template. For Process Flow, you need to create a Process Flow in Developer's Studio and then publish it in Adeptia Connect. For Transactions, you need to create a Transaction using Pre Process application at Source and then use the Transaction while creating a TemplateIn a typical scenario of data transaction, the data is transferred from source to target. However, in some cases a company or partner may need to further process the data received at the target location. For further processing of this already processed data user would use post processing transaction.
Like any other transaction, we need to create a template first for post processing. A post processing template will include a process flow published in Adeptia Connect. Based on your requirement type for the post processing of the received data, you can also use an already created transaction for instead of a process flow. You must use Post Process app in the target location to facilitate the creation of post processing template/transaction.
