Mapping the matching fields of IdP user in Adeptia Suite allows to authorize users to access Adeptia Suite on the basis of user fields mapped with SAML attributes. Perform the following steps to map the fields:

  1. Go to the …/<AdeptiaInstallFolder>/etc/saml folder. 
  2. Open SAMLSSOConfigure.xml file in the text editor. 
  3. Map SAML assertion attributes to Adeptia user fields in the file.

<field> is the user field and <mapped-attribute> is the SAML attribute.

Here, entity name of the user field is mapped with the first name of SAML attribute.

Once you mapped fields successfully, next step is to create users in AIS.
