This section lists the prerequisites and explains how to apply the patch on Windows-based and Linux-based operating systems.

    • In case, any other database is used as the backend database, you need to follow the backup instructions given by that Database Server. To know, which database is used as the back end database, refer to Appendix A: Identify Backend Database.  
  • Take backup of 

  • securityContext.xml file from <AdeptiaInstallFolder>\AdeptiaServer\ServerKernel\etc\saml location. This backup file will help you replicate the manual changes that you may have done in this file in the past before applying this patch. 
  • Take backup of cacerts file from ConnectServer\ServerKernel\etc\cacerts file from .../AdeptiaServer/ServerKernel/etc/truststore location.

  • Ensure that you have followed the Prerequisites' instructions given on the Installing Adeptia Suite page.

In this release, some manual changes are required in Server.

Changes

in securityContext.xml
  • Go to <AdeptiaInstallFolder>\AdeptiaServer\ServerKernel\etc\saml location.

  • Open securityContext.xml file.

  • Update the xsi:schemaLocation attribute as shown in the following code snippet.

  • Save the file.
  • Restart the Server.
  • Changes in cacerts 

    1. Copy the cacerts file from patch location, and paste it at ConnectServer\ServerKernel\etc\.../AdeptiaServer/ServerKernel/etc/truststore location.
    2. Open the copied file and make the same manual changes in the file that you have done in your previous cacerts file (that you had saved as a backup).
    3. Save the file.
