At times, you may also require using the activity for some other project into your project an activity from another project in your own project, or vice-versa. The Project Activity Listing page enables you to move (an) activity(ies) from one project to another project. You can move either all activities or the selected activities of a project to another project.

Only users of administrators and sysadmin group groups, or the owner of a project can perform the Move operation.


Steps to Move Activity(ies) to another Project

  1. Login as the an user of the administrator group or as the owner of the project.
  2. On the Project Manage page, click the project from which you want to move the activities.
  3. On the Project Activity Listing page, expand the required group headings to select the activity(ies) that you want to move to another project (see Figure 21).

    Move is enabled after you select an activity.

  4. Click Move. The system displays the Activity Move screen (see Figure 18).

  5. Select the group to which you want to move the selected activities. The drop-down list displays all the groups within the Adeptia Suite including the administrators group (see Figure 23).

  6. Click Move to move the activity. The activity will be moved and added to the selected group.

     

    A status application message is displayed (see Figure 24).

  7. Close the application message. The Project Activity Listing page is shown (see Figure 25).

    The current project will not display the moved activity(ies) on the Project Activity Listing page.

  8. Click Back to return to the Project Manage page.
  9. Click the project that you selected on the Move Activity page to view the activity(s) that you moved (see Figure 27).
