Log files are not created and hence can't b cleared. Only other types of repository files are cleared.

Instead of waiting for the default clean-up, at any point you can choose to run the logs and data clean-up. This, however, does not remove the records of process flows which are in Running, Waiting, Ready, and Queued state. Perform the following steps to clean-up instantly:

  1. Login to Adeptia Connect.
  2. On the home page, go to Account drop-down menu.
  3. Click Account > Maintenance.
  4. Select Logs Clean-up.
  5. Select Logs or Archival Logs which you want to cleanup.

  6. Click Cleanup Now.
  7. In the Confirm dialog box, click Yes to continue, else click No.
    Status dialogue box appears.

  8. Click OK.

Info
  • This cleans the logs instantly and archives them as per the retain time defined in the log-cleanup.properties file.
  • If the clean-up fails, the system throws an error message link which takes you to System Console where you can take a look at the errors in detail.

Force cleanup of process flow logs

In some cases, for example, to get rid of an error thrown during log clean-up or to remove all the process flows from the log in one go, you may require a feature that does this for you.

Adeptia Connect allows you to remove all the process flows from the logs instantly irrespective of their state (Running, Waiting, Ready, and Queued). The deleted records are not saved in Archived Logs even if log archival is enabled.

Follow the steps below to perform instant clean-up of all the process flows irrespective of their state:

  1. Login to Adeptia Connect.
  2. On the home page, go to Account drop-down menu.
  3. Click Account > Maintenance.
  4. Select Logs Clean-up > Logs.
  5. Click , next to Cleanup Now button and then select Force Cleanup.

  6. In the Confirm dialog box, click Yes to continue, else click No.
    Status dialogue box appears.
  7. Click OK.
